Princess

The classic international bestseller...'Princess' the true story of life inside Saudi Arabia's royal family by Jean Sasson...(thanks kerel for the books!)..here is the synopsis of the book i'm reading right now.. :)

'Princess is a testimony to a woman of indomitable spirit and great courage. By speaking out, 'Sultana' risks the wrath of the Saudi establishment and for this reason, she had told her story anonymously through the best selling aouthor Jean Sasson. For the first time, a real Saudi woman opens the door to give readers an unvarnished look inside a closed society. ' Sultana' life the veil on the shocking world of forced marriages, sex slavery, honours killings and other outrages against women, both royal and common.'

The book questioned about the worth of woman to men. What is the meaning of women existance to men? companionship or just pleasure? The issue touched kinda scary yet thoughtful :) ..Yup, a lil bit sexist..haha..i recommend the book to all..(women of betrayal especially :P~)..I learned a lot from the book..from the history of Saudi royal monarchy to the laws of Saudi Arabia.. interesting... more interesting.. it quotes words from Khalil Gibran..and other ancient proverb..menareks!

p/s- ayeem the feminist? :)

such stories about women assault and discrimination still happens in some parts of the world, even those countries with civilization.

remember there was one case where the father hid his daughter in the underground and fathered 6 kids with his own imprisoned daughter?

i think its up to women to fight their own rights and tell the men that we also has the right to live as a human, not as goods or slaves.

wahaha.. welcome.. no problem..

so umm.. according to your short review.. i think it's up to individuals la. men are mostly.. i repeat.. mostly.. stronger than women.. in terms of physical.. so they tend to think that they have the power.. the rights to do anything to a woman.. sampah2 macam ni la yg buat masalah ni.. so.. it's not only up to women (i refer to what ija said), it's up to men as well to get rid of these mofos from the face of the earth.

so the problem now is.. men are mostly... egoistic too... i repeat.. mostly.. not all aaa!!... saper yg terase tu mintak maap la.. bukan aku nak kutuk kaum sendiri.. aku pun ade batang gak. tapi.. sendiri pikir la..
so it's kinda hard to get men to be on women's side too.. so.. there is really no definite solution to this.. men will always be men.

heheh.. but idiotic mofos like em shudnt be called men. :)

peace be upon u...
